Chinese SoC (System-on-a-Chip) company Rockchip has unveiled its latest product called RK3368 few months ago. Now it is time to launch the Android TV Boxes based on these boards. As usually, ZERO Devices is the first brand showing their new toy. It is called the ZERO Devices Z64, and its specifications are really promising.
The Rockchip RK3368 is an ARM Cortex A53 Octacore 64 bits with a PowerVR SGX6110 GPU up to 600Mhz that supports OpenGL ES 3.1, OpenCL 1.2 and DirectX 9.3. We also can find a real HDMI2.0 port (UHD 4K 60fps).
If that is not enough, it is ready to Android 5.1 Lollipop, the latest OS from Google. So we can find a new TV Box with really good and new specifications.

The Z64 construction is robust, with a plastic base where we can find some ventilation holes and aluminium part that will help with heat dissipation. WiFi antenna is external.
This box powered by RK3688 is probably the begining of the 64 bits on these kind of devices and as usual we are sure some firmware updates will be provided by the manufacturer as always. You can visit the official website.
